Severely Matted Dog Abandoned At Arizona Shelter Finds Forever Home After Makeover

Arizona Humane Society took in a dog found abandoned in her crate and in desperate need of some TLC. The neglected 5-year-old Shih Tzu arrived “with severely matted fur, overgrown nails, and in need of some serious dental work,” posted the shelter. The sweet girl was named Theodora and the staff went to work giving her a life-changing makeover. They started with a warm bubble bath and then trimmed off all the matted fur. Next, they cut her overgrown nails and showered her with love. Her new look was completed with an adorable...

Puppy Brings His Owner A Beautiful Bouquet Of Flowers

Dogs are such sweet animals. I honestly don’t think it’s possible to ever meet a dog that I don’t like. They’re just amazing animals. They have a way about them that makes you feel so important and loved. That is probably why they make such popular pets. Given that they’re considered man’s best friend, it makes sense that these loyal creatures are always willing to show us how much they care. Teenager Is Training Rabbits To Become Therapy Animals On “Peacebunny Island”

Caleb Smith has been a “bunny guy” ever since he was eight years old. That’s when he rescued his first rabbit, Snickers, off Craigslist, and realized bunnies, like many pets, aren’t always treated as well as they should be. “The people selling Snickers had cats and a dog, but they only wanted to keep the cats. They were done with the others,” Smith, who is now 16, recalled in his new book, Peacebunny Island. “The way he used the word done struck me as gruff, and I felt bad for the animals that were...
