The Wyandotte Police Department, animal control, and Wyandotte Fire Department worked together to rescue a Labradoodle who had gotten loose from her owner while on a walk and ended up jumping into the freezing Detroit River. The recently adopted pup, named Lucy, managed to climb onto a chunk of floating ice, but it was drifting away in the river, preventing the dog from getting to shore.
