Shelter Dog Who Spent 10 Years Waiting For A Forever Home Has Just Been Adopted
A shelter dog named Safira just proved that good things come to those who wait. The 11-year-old dog has been patiently waiting for a forever home since she arrived in 2011 at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. She has spent her whole life at the sanctuary learning to play nice with other dogs and living her best dog life. However, she always hoped a loving family would come along and take her home. Safira was taken on hikes by caretakers and spoiled with tons of balls, her absolute favorite thing. A video of her rolling in a pool full of balls...
Probiotics and prebiotics – why they’re so important for your dog or cat
A balanced microbiome has a positive impact on your dog or cat’s health that goes well beyond digestive function. Probiotics and prebiotics can help achieve and maintain that balance. Florida Zoo Reunites a Mother Sloth and Her Baby with the Father
On February 8, a mother sloth gave birth to a healthy baby on St. Augustine Alligator Farm. According to the zoo’s Facebook video, wild female sloths send the father away so she can independently take care of the baby. The Hoffman’s two-toed sloth mother will nurture the baby for months, with the little one clinging to her belly — to create a bond that will contribute to the...
Dog Peacefully Sleeps While Cat Generously Rocks Him
People on the internet can’t seem to get enough of any content that involves animals. It’s kind of like free therapy and is highly effective. Another video from the social media cat page makes people laugh and share the content with their friends. It may seem unbelievable at the first watch — no, it’s not animated. The cat is rocking the cradle of a sleeping dog as if the feline knows that it will help the dog sleep better. Cats and dogs are often portrayed as enemies, but that does not always happen. Reality is truly...

I found out that you were pushed from a car and left on a stranger’s lawn, where you waited two days for your owner to come back. I was saddened when your heart worm test came back positive. Our group voted to pay for treatment if someone would foster you. I...
