Lab Terrified of Halloween Cutout Kitties Captured in Video

A large black Lab caught on a recent TikTok video is a scaredy cat when it comes to Halloween decorations. His name is Maverick, and the footage of him frozen among the decorations is hysterical. It’s as if Medusa laid eyes on him, and he unwittingly returned her gaze. It seems that the handsome pooch is not a fan of cats, period, and when he discovered the display, he was nearly paralyzed among them. The video has garnered so many views and is so hysterically funny that even CNN had to investigate. Photo: Pixabay/bhumann34 Halloween...

Sometimes they are just left neglected in the streets — hoping that a caring human notices them. Sadly, those cats often find themselves stuck in areas where humans cannot see them. It’s a hard life in the streets for a cat with no identity. Photo: Unsplash/Manuel Rheinschmidt Such cases are often caused by running away from home and owners...

Wetsuits Modeled After Otters? Yup!

A few years back, it was reported that MIT had begun working on wetsuits modeled after otters. It’s actually a brilliant idea if you think about it. The animals’ fur and the oil from their skin keep them relatively dry and remarkably warm in frigid temperatures. Surfers and divers could benefit greatly from the suits. After all, who wouldn’t want to be more comfortable while submerged in water? It’s also a better solution than peeing in your wetsuit, which is a common trick with surfers for a temporary blast of heat....
