Yesterday was a life-changing day for 59 at-risk shelter dogs. Billy the Kid, Clarissa, and dozens more were loaded onto a plane in New Orleans for a second chance at a forever home in Idaho. The Flight to Freedom touched down in Boise, Idaho and shelter staff and volunteers from Idaho Humane Society and Lake Lowell Animal Rescue rushed to greet them.
