Wild Horse Immediately Recognizes His Girlfriend After Two Years Apart

There are many beautiful things in this world but there is nothing quite like the sight of a wild mustang running free. It’s something that far too few people get to experience in real life. For those who run a horse sanctuary that focuses on rescuing those mustangs, it is not only a common sight but also a place where magical things happen. When a picture appeared on American Wildhorse Campaign, it caught the attention of Clare Staples, the founder and president of Skydog Sanctuary. The pictures showed Phoenix, a wild mustang, trying...

Dwarf Giraffes Discovered In The Wild For The First Time

When most people think about giraffes, they think about an animal with a long neck that is able to reach the top of the tallest tree. As it turns out, a dwarf version of the giraffe does exist and they saw them for the first time. Two dwarf giraffes were discovered by scientists in Namibia and Uganda. Rather than being 16 feet tall, like their supersized cousins, they are only 8’6″ and 9’4″ tall. It was an abandoned warehouse, and DAR Animal Rescue was there to do what they could to help him. At one time, DAR Animal Rescue had a shelter in the area but the shelter had been destroyed when a flood happened. After going back to the abandoned warehouse, they saw the...
