Dog Starved For 7 Years Gets A Proper Meal And Finds His Forever Home
There are many things that I have come to understand in my thirty years of life. But one of the big mysteries that still completely baffles me is the fact that people can be outright cruel to animals. Animals are some of the most precious and innocent beings – they deserve only love and compassion. But for whatever reason, some people think that it’s okay to treat them with such blatant disregard. Odie was a poor dog who had suffered for 7 years. In that time, Odie had been chained up and starved to the point that he was just skin...
Dog Goes Crazy Whenever He Gets To Play With His Pig BFF
There is nothing better than a playdate with your best friend. For one adorable pooch, whenever he sees his best friend he absolutely loses it with excitement. In fact, he is well-known to do a little happy dance upon seeing his bestie and we think that is absolutely precious. Everybody should get that excited about their best friend, right? While we might assume that Colt, the golden retriever, is excited about seeing another dog, that actually isn’t the case. In fact, Colt’s best friend happens to be Carlton, a pig. Photo:...
Soldier Rescues Baby Squirrel’s Life And Now They’re Inseparable
When a soldier in the Belarusian army, Pyotr Pankratau, found a little baby squirrel who was on death’s door, he knew he had to help. Rather than turn his back on the little tiny critter in need, Pyotr took him in and nursed him back to health. He was very dedicated to his new little friend by nursing the little baby squirrel by feeding it milk with a syringe. He bonded with the little buddy, eventually giving him the name Masik. He took Masik everywhere in the army with him. And when the time came for Pyotr to leave the army, Masik...
Dogs Learn New Hobbies During Their Downtime In Lockdown
It’s pretty much been a whole year of lockdown. Yes, we may have had small windows of eased restrictions, but the majority of the time has been spent indoors. For many of us, we’re probably reaching the end of our patience – there are only so many streaming services that one can subscribe to before it all starts to overlap. It seems that even our pets are at their wits end with the boredom that comes with quarantine. For Olive and Mabel, the dogs of Scottish broadcaster Andrew Cotter, they had plenty of time on their paws to...
Impatient Dog Takes Out Toddler Trying To Throw A Stick
We all know that dogs and humans get along. There’s a reason dogs are referred to as man’s best friend. But the relationship that dogs share with kids is on a whole other level. Kids and dogs are like mac and cheese – they’re a classic and fun combination. Nothing shows this better than the video of Zeke and his owner, Zachary. The little boy and the golden retriever are the best of friends and they love to do everything together, including enjoying a game of fetch or two. While the playful pooch and the five-year-old...

Zero Rhinos Poached In 2020, Reports Kenya Wildlife Service
2020 has been described as unprecedented, but in a good way for critically endangered rhinos. For the first time in 21 years, Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) reports that no rhinos were poached in 2020. Kenya is home to one of the largest populations of rhinos in Africa, and KWS was thrilled to report that not one was killed by a poacher last year. “For the first time in twenty-one years, KWS made headway in the fight against poaching! In-spite of the challenges brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic, we reported zero rhino poaching in...

In the meantime, they require stringent and specialized diets, care and...
