When we think of cats, we usually picture elegant, graceful, and quick-witted animals who always land on their feet. But they don’t always live up to the stereotype.
Cats can be agile and fast on their paws, but sometimes, things don’t always go as planned for them. It seems that’s what happened to an orange cat in Gullane, East Lothian, Scotland.
The furry feline was outside enjoying the day, apparently, a typical sight for gardeners in the area.
However, when something spotted the cat’s eye in the bushes, it decided to make a pounce for it and hunt – and it didn’t go quite as planned.
The cat dove into the bushes and face-planted with a solid plop. It was a hilarious sight, and a bystander actually caught it on video!
The person filming shared with ViralHog, “Cute neighbourhood cat being as silly as they always are when I see them in the garden. Trying to hunt but… faceplanting the bushes!”
Based on the video, it didn’t succeed with its catch. Maybe it’ll have better luck next time! Watch the video below:
