Cats are pretty incredible and one mom is singing the praises of a local cat after it rescued her keys from a cement hole!

The mother, who goes by @luhmeira7 on TikTok, shared about the incident on TikTok, noting that she filmed the whole ordeal because no one would believe her otherwise.

It all started when her child accidentally tossed her key into a cement hole. The hole was too small to fit a hand into, so the mother resorted to grabbing a stick and trying to pry the keys up that way.

She wasn’t having any luck with reaching the keys, but she did draw the attention of a black cat in the neighborhood.

The cat saw the woman poking a stick into the hole and decided he wanted to play. At first, the cat was attacking the stick as the mom attempted to fetch her keys.

But even when the mom removed the stick, the cat went back for more, having found a new toy to go after: the keys!

The cat pawed at the keys, eventually pulling them to the top of the hole so the woman could grab them. It seems the cat just wanted a new toy to play with, but he ended up saving the day for the woman!

The woman thanked the cat with plenty of pets, praises, and a few jingles of her key!
