2020 was a historic year for many reasons. But perhaps one of the biggest headlines to come out of 2020 was the COVID-19 pandemic which saw many of us have to adjust to a life spent mostly indoors in our homes.
Personally, I love working from home. It has many upsides for many people – mostly getting to spend time with loved ones, including our furry family members.
And while working from home with pets can be a blessing, it can also be a curse when you’re trying to get work done but they just won’t leave you alone. Every pet parent working from home has at least one or two stories of when their furry friends have been non-compliant in letting them get work done. But not every pet parent has gone as far as to present their pet with a formal warning from HR. Luckily for us, Andrew shared the whole thing on Facebook.
In a funny twist, one couple decided to present their cat with a letter from HR. Andrew Stych and his wife, Sheila, were a couple who were working from home. They also happened to be the proud owners of four cats and a pit bull.

While they adjusted to working-from-home life, they did experience some “unprofessional” behavior from one of their cats, Penelope.
That is when Andrew decided to do something funny and send a written letter of complaint to Penelope, and he addressed it from HR.
The hilarious letter stated, “Penelope, this letter serves to formally document your failure to comply with household regulations, and your lack of adherence to workspace polices. You have been a great contributor to workplace morale and have been meeting your quota with regards to cuteness and chasing hair ties.”
