Lizzy the black cat, AKA OwlKitty, starred in a parody of one of Jurassic Park‘s most iconic scenes. In the clip, the ferocious black feline acts as the T. Rex and goes after the jeep!
The scene is a classic clip from Jurassic Park (1993) and one of the most well-known scenes from the entire movie. In the original, Lex and Tim Murphy were among the first guests to visit the park when they’re attacked by a T. Rex.
The suspense of the scene starts with a quiet, low rumble. Ripples fill a water cup, and there’s silence – and then a Tyrannasuaras rex crashes through the bushes.
The following moments are intense and terrifying as the giant dinosaur goes after everyone and almost gets in the jeep successfully.

The feline version is eerily similar to the original, except instead of a T. Rex, there’s a giant cat. The cat appears to be just as large as the dinosaur from the movie, and in true cat fashion, she does whatever she wants.
In the clip, the cat can be seen preying on the Jeep and its passengers before Grant distracts her. This time, however, he doesn’t use a flare – but cat food.
The star of the parody happens to be a 2-year-old black cat from Portland named Lizzy. When she’s not at home getting snuggles or chasing lasers, she’s staring in recreations of iconic movie scenes and uses the stage name “OwlKitty.”
