Cats have many reputations, but they’re not always as graceful as people might think. They’re thought to be aloof and independent, but they’re also thought to be very agile, and believed to never miss a jump or always land on their feet.
However, that isn’t always the case. In fact, many people with cats might also know the rather clumsy side of felines. Granted, cats keep their klutzy ways well hidden most of the time, but sometimes it comes out.
Cat videos are all over the internet these days. Some of them are heartwarming rescue stories, but there are also a lot of funny videos of cats being cats. There is one video, in particular, that is making the viral rounds on TikTok because of how hilarious the content is.
It involves a kitty stand-off by the pool.
As one can imagine, it ends in disaster. Cats and water do not mix at all. So when two cats are approaching one another by the edge of a pool, you just know that something is going to go wrong. And it does.
As one of the cats approaches the other, it’s clear that something is going to go down. But not wanting to face a potential fight, the little grey and white spotted feline decides to avoid the situation entirely and just escape with a giant leap.
By watching the video, it’s clear that the cat was calculating what it thought would be a clean jump over the grey cat’s head. And if it had been successful, it would’ve been one heck of a jump.
Sadly, this little kitty miscalculated and ended up diving straight into the pool! Oops! The cat in the water naturally was freaking out, trying to get out of the water as quickly as possible. Only, its panic causes the other cat to panic in turn, and the two of them are running around like crazed lunatics. It’s hilarious to watch.
