A uniquely patterned cat is going viral for his striking resemblance to the character Zorro.

The 9-month-old Persian kitten, named Boy, belongs to Indraini Wahyudin Noor who shares plenty of photos and videos of the feline on social media.

Since posting about Boy, Noor’s TikTok has amassed nearly 300,000 followers! People just can’t get enough of the “Zorro cat,” as he’s been nicknamed.

People are particularly drawn to the black patch of fur that surrounds Boy’s eyes. It looks just like Zorro’s iconic mask, prompting people to draw the comparison.

For those who aren’t aware, Zorro is a fictional heroic character created in 1919 by American writer Johnston McCulley.

Zorro is known to defend commoners and indigenous people in California against corruption and evil villains. He does so while dressed in his iconic and signature all-black costume that’s complete with a cape, a hat, and a face mask that covers his eyes.

According to the New York Post, Noor says it’s not just on social media that people draw the comparison between Boy and Zorro. People who meet the cat often comment on the resemblance and even Noor thinks he looks like Zorro!

As per the post, Noor said: “I also think he looks just like Zorro, and I think he likes regularly listening to the Zorro music. People who see him for the first time usually say that he’s unique, and cute and how he looks just like Zorro. They even call him the cat thief!”
