One afternoon when I was leaving work, I got into my car and started it. I went two blocks, and I started hearing a meow sound. I thought it must be a cat from the street, but I went one more block and I could hear the meow with the same intensity.
“Do I have a cat in my car?” I asked myself. “No, there must be something wrong with it, and it’s about to break down.”

I heard the same sound again, and I decided to turn the car off. Then the sound stopped. I was so happy. I thought, “It’s just my car!” But a few seconds later, I heard the meow again! “OH MY GOD I HAVE A CAT IN MY CAR!”
Desperately, I started looking for it. I looked all over, and then I saw a little cat in the motor space. I laid down in the street beneath the car, and I was able to rescue it.
I didn’t know what to do with him. I took him home and decided to give him up for adoption because I have another cat who isn’t very friendly with other cats. Luckily, my aunt who lives next to me decided to keep him. Now I see and play with him every day!
Sol, as she named him, was a lucky one because he could have been harmed or dead due to the motor, but now he’s a very happy seven-month-old cat!
