There’s a reason cats are stereotyped as being evil geniuses. They can be clever, aloof, and always seem to be plotting their next big scheme.

When Coco’s family left him home alone, he thought it’d be the perfect time to get into some mischief. He didn’t realize, however, that the family was watching from afar on security cameras.

The 2-year-old tabby cat was adopted from a shelter back in June and he’s been running his new family’s house ever since.

There are house rules to follow, though, and his parents make sure he stays out of things he shouldn’t be in when they’re home, like blinds, cupboards, and human food.

When Coco was left to his own devices, he immediately went for the kitchen cupboard. As the family witnessed on their security cameras, Coco pushed open the cupboard and started to get into it!

Before Coco can get into too much trouble, his owner yells from the camera, “Excuse me, sir, what are you doing? Coco, get out of there.”

The voice caught the cat’s attention and the feline quickly hopped out of the cupboard, but he didn’t stop there. The cat darted straight up to the camera and knocked it down!

Coco’s family shared a video of the incident on TikTok. They wrote, “When Coco gets caught on the cat cam, he decides to get rid of it himself.”
