If you have a dog in your life, you already realize that we do some pretty funny things with them around. Each dog has its own personality and if we had our way, they would have their own voice as well.
In fact, it’s not out of the ordinary to make up a fake voice for our beloved dogs and to speak for them, almost as if we were holding a conversation. We might even find that we are doing that with a human baby in the family as well. We just crave conversation!
Even though dogs can’t communicate with us in the same way as other humans, that doesn’t mean that they don’t understand what is going on around them. The same could also be said for babies, who seem to pick up on things a lot more quickly than we do.
Those facts come together in a very unique and adorable way when you hear a conversation taking place between a little baby and a dog. It happened one day when a mother was sitting nearby, and she knew that she needed to take a video and share it.
Her daughter, Zoe, was sitting nearby Pele, the dog, when an argument broke out. The mother described it as the baby-speaking dog and the dog-speaking baby. Whatever it was, it is absolutely hilarious to see.
I think we can also empathize with the little girl because she doesn’t seem to be having a very good day. The dog also seems to be irritable, which is like having a match and a can of gasoline.
The little girl throws her fit on the floor and the dog sits by, almost as if he is waiting for her to finish. We are not sure if he is trying to make her feel better or just trying to get a word in edge-wise, but when Zoe stops, Pele picks up.
Pele is enjoying his spot on the couch and perhaps Zoe wants to have that spot. The conversation goes on without it really being known what they are saying, but it’s clear that Pele is getting a little tired of things.
When Zoe says something, Pele will mock her. Ask any child and they will tell you that is the worst thing that a sibling can do.
We’re not sure what was being said here but there is one thing we know, we’re so glad that mom decided to pick up her phone and take a video of one epic conversation.
