Many of us dream of living on an island with warm sand and blue waters all around. That may be a dream for many of us but for a cat named Hokule’a, it is a reality.
Hokule’a was spending his time at the local Humane Society when he happened to be discovered by some kind humans that gave him a forever home.
At first, they were attracted to Hokule’a because he was sweet and shy but it wasn’t long before he showed just how much of the family he had become.
His humans had some things they enjoyed doing, including going to the beach. Rather than leave Hokule’a home alone, they would take him along and they were so thrilled when he joined right in the fun.
It seems that the calmness of the ocean attracts him to it and he isn’t one of those felines that minds getting in the water:
In fact, they have a hard time keeping him dry!
He has even decided that surfing is something he loves.
I guess you can’t teach an old dog new tricks but you sure can teach this cat to enjoy something new.
