Some kids have the purest hearts, and that’s seen best in an adorable viral video of a toddler comforting an anxious dog.
2-year-old Lily knows her grandma will be back soon to tend to her dog, Lulu, but Lulu seems to think her owner is gone forever.
Separation anxiety in dogs can be a serious issue, which may have gotten worse with the pandemic. Anxiety can be caused by a number of factors, and it’s never a good thing.
However, life must go on and Lily’s grandma couldn’t stay home all day every day with her pup. But thankfully, Lulu had Lily there to help.
The sweet girl seemed to sense that Lulu was struggling and knelt down beside him to give him some love and pets. The dog seemed unsure, but Lily insisted on comforting him. She gently stroked his fur and said, “Don’t be sad. Grandma gonna be back soon Lulu. Okay?”
She continued to comfort him and even gave him some sweet treats to distract him from his missing person.
