Dogs often want love and attention from their owners and they’ll take every opportunity that arises to get it.

If you’ve ever tried to exercise with a dog around, you know how it goes. You lay down on a matt to do some stretching or crunches and the dog runs over for kisses, making it nearly impossible to accomplish anything.

We can’t really be mad at them for it, it’s actually quite adorable (even if it feels a little pesky in the moment). Of course, every dog is different and some take a hint better than others. Some dogs seem to sense when their owners are busy and let them be, while others remain oblivious and just seek out the love.

The golden retriever in the video below is definitely the latter of the two. In the sweet clip, you can see the dog’s owner attempting to work under a car.

The owner has a matt laid out under the car and is on his back trying to fix something. He’s got a tool in his hand and is working away when suddenly his golden retriever slides under the car for a hug!

The sweet dog scoots onto his owner’s belly and goes in for some kisses. Then, he plops his head down and gets a big hug. The dog’s owner was a good sport about the whole situation and allowed the dog to lay there while he offered some pets.

The golden retriever seems to be in complete bliss and doesn’t mind that they’re under a car or that his owner was trying to work.

It’s the kind of moment that could only happen with a dog.
