Guardian Angels Soldier Pet Foster Home program assist veterans in specific situations due to an emergency hardship.

Service:

-Short term fostering

We assist with situations needing foster home assistance for Wounded Warrior due to combat injuries, veterans due to a major medical related in-patient care/treatment, homeless veterans receiving a “hand up” via a VA or VA approved Homeless Veteran Transition Program and fallen Warrior families impacted by the loss of a loved.

We do not charge a fee for providing this service or any other service provided by the organization. However, the military/veteran legal pet owner is usually responsible for any and all pet care related expenditures that can include but not limited to needed veterinary care, food, treats, grooming during the foster term unless other arrangements have been made by the organization’s national office.

To begin the process, the assigned caseworker/mentor must submit the MPA Request form. Upon receipt of the Military/Veteran Pet Assistance (MPA Request) form, the MPA Administrator will either call the MPA Request submitter or send an email with further instructions. All efforts will be made to respond to the MPA request as quickly as possible but may be up 48 hours before we can respond.
