Financial Assistance | Veterinary Care |Feeding Pets of the Homeless provides financial assistance directly to veterinarians for pre-approved emergency veterinary care for pets whose owner is experiencing homelessness.
Services:
– Emergency vet care
The initial interview is conducted by a Case Manager who determines eligibility basis on agency criteria. All treatment is pre-authorized and payable directly to licensed veterinarians. Treatment always includes updating of vaccinations at no cost. Examples of the need for emergency treatment include: parvo; swallowing of foreign objects; open skin lesion; broken bones, ear infections, palpable growth and mange (skin mites). There is no charge to you but we would appreciate any payment made to the hospital at the time of the visit towards the invoice.
If you should you have a pet emergency injury or illness, apply by calling Monday – Friday.
