We often have security cameras on our property to keep an eye on what’s going on. We use them to ensure that nobody steals anything, but sometimes, they also capture something totally unexpected.

That is the experience that Mallory Kmet and her husband had when they took a look at their security camera footage.

It seems as if somebody had gone for a ride in their golf cart but it wasn’t anyone they would have ever expected.

It all started when Titan, their Mastiff, had a run-in with a skunk in the morning. He was rather stinky, so they wouldn’t let him rest on the cushion on the back deck.

The 10-year-old dog wasn’t one to take no for an answer. Although he didn’t have access to his usual soft resting spot, he did have access to the golf cart. He felt that it would be a great place to get some shelter and comfort.

Unfortunately, Titan pushed the gas pedal and the cart took him for an unexpected ride. It went in a big loop and eventually, crashed into the pickup truck.

Titan was not necessarily upset over the situation. He just got out, took a look at the damage, and then went about his business. He wasn’t injured and the truck repair went well.

The golf cart is used on their Manitoba, Canada property. When they spoke with a local news station, they said that they use the car to haul wood but Titan is never far away. The last time they used the cart they must not have turned it off completely.

Titan doesn’t seem to be upset over the accident and is still willing to go for a cart ride at any time. In the words of his humans, it is “one of his favorite things to do.”
