Cats can be aloof and uninterested, but they can also be caring and loving. The attitude depends on the cat, but it also depends on the cat’s relationship with its owner.
Sometimes you just know your cat loves you by the little things they do. It’s true that cat’s don’t have the loving, affectionate reputation that dogs can have, but it doesn’t mean they can’t be just as connected to their owners.
Zoe is the perfect example of that. She’s a cat who realized her owner could use a friend. When her mom would talk to her, rather than walking away or sitting in silence, Zoe began to talk back!
According to GeoBeats, Zoe’s owner shared that during quarantine, she was spending so much time at home alone. She got lonely and began to talk to Zoe a lot more. As she began to talk to her cat more, she realized that her cat was actually talking back to her!
She said, “I do like to think she understands, especially because when I ask her questions, she waits, and then she’ll pause, and I can tell she’s trying to think of what to say.”
Knowing that others would get joy out of seeing a cat talk, Zoe’s owner began recording their interactions and sharing them on Instagram.
The account description says, “My cat can TALK and she dishes out serotonin boosting cat content daily.”
Who says cats can’t be good company?
