The bond between a senior man and his senior dog was perfectly captured on video in Orchard Park, New York.

The relationships we form with our pets are really something special, and I think it’s safe to say they’re bonds that last the test of time.

As we age, our furry companions become even more important as we lose more loved ones and spend less time with friends and family. They stick with us through our health issues, times of grieving, and greatest joys, and everything in between.

Dogs, especially, are known to be loyal and stick by their owner’s side, even as they grow older and experience the difficulties associated with aging.

Many dog owners know the challenges that arise when their canine companions start to age. They might lose mobility, struggle to walk, have dental issues, and so much more.

For an older dog in the parking lot of Orchard Park in New York, it was clear he was struggling with health. However, he had his elderly owner to care for him.

A video captured a touching moment the elderly man helped his senior dog up into the back of the truck. The truck had been equipped with a ramp so the dog could more easily walk up it, and the owner helped him up even further by pulling his harness.

It seemed that they were both dealing with difficulties associated with aging, but they were going through it together. It just goes to show that the bonds we build with our pets can be unshakable, even during our last days.
