Tori Spelling and her family are heartbroken after saying goodbye to their beloved dog, Arthur Bear Reynolds.
In 2018, the family welcomed Arthur, who was already a senior dog, into their home after he was found abandoned in the Woolsey fire in California.
The sweet boy was loved by all but formed a special bond with the 90210 actress. She took to Instagram to share the devastating news of his passing and post a heartfelt tribute.
The post opens with, “It breaks my heart 💔 that we had to say goodbye to Arthur Bear Reynolds…”
She goes on to thank the rescue who took in Arthur and encourage everyone to adopt a senior. “So thankful to @muchloveanimalrescue for giving me the privilege to be Arthur’s forever mom. Sadly senior rescues are not as desirable as puppies. But, if you have the opportunity to be a forever home to a senior pet do it! It’s life changing.”
Tori immediately connected with Arthur and she said they were “made for each other.” Even though they only had three short years together, they formed an unbreakable bond.
“Arthur was close to 20 when he passed. We didn’t get a long time with him but I’ve cherished the years we had together. I was his human. He was one of the greatest loves of my life. I told him all the time I wish we had met each other when he was a pup. He was so loving. He loved having the kids all over him. He was such a warrior! He never gave up. Such strength and will. I will miss him forever.”

He made their family whole and even though the house is full of children and other dogs, the actress says it still feels empty.
“My room seems so empty now without him. The music I put to these pics popped into my head as I held his paw for the last time. Haven’t listened to this song in years but after I did it made complete sense. Arthur and I were made for each other. Dogs give us unconditional love. Unlike humans. Yet, it’s our pets we have the shortest journey with…”
She ended the tribute by saying, “I hope you are running thru beautiful fields now Arthur. I ❤️ U. xoxo”.
Her husband, Dean McDermott, also shared a post on his Instagram page honoring the late Arthur. He informed his followers that his sweet dog received his “angel wings” and told his pal to “have fun with all the ones that we’ve lost along the way.” The tearjerking post concluded with the actor telling the senior dog, “See you down the road.”
RIP, Arthur.
