Everyone could use a little TLC every now and again, especially the elderly. Sometimes as we age, it becomes harder to take care of ourselves in a basic way, and sometimes, we could just use a little extra love.
The same is also true for dogs. Like any other member of the family, our dogs deserve to be pampered and treated a little extra special here and there, and it’s especially important as they get older.
One family knew just how true that was and they decided to treat their elderly St. Bernard, Daisy, to a special groomer’s visit.
At the groomer’s, Daisy was spoiled and pampered with a gentle bath, blow dry, nail trim, and love. The whole thing was shared on video by YouTuber Girl With The Dogs, who said, “This video will be a forever memory for [Daisy’s] owners to look back on.”

St. Bernards are recognized for being gentle giants, according to the American Kennel Club, and are “famously watchful and patient ‘nanny dogs’ for children.”
After a lifetime of caring so much for others, it only makes sense that they get a little pampering in return, and that’s exactly what Daisy got.
