The hardest day in any pet owner’s life is the day we must say goodbye to our beloved friend. The following days are also hard as we mourn their loss.
Actress Naomi Watts is heartbroken over the death of her 20-year-old Yorkshire terrier named Bob.
She took to Instagram to pay tribute to her faithful pup.
“My Darling Bob. What an honor to have had you in our lives. You’ll be living on in my heart and soul forever. Rest In Peace. 20 years of love. Godspeed! 😥💔 #legend #wingman,” she wrote.
Watts said Bob was wise, always up for anything, and a legend.
She was blessed to have Bob by her side for 20 years and stated, “we basically grew up together!! He will be missed.”

Bob’s adorable face was often featured on Watts’ social media. He enjoyed a good nap and was the best cuddle buddy.
But don’t be fooled by his size. The little guy was tough. His mom posted, “He’s still going strong after two surgeries, a metal hip and a donkey bite!”
Friends and fans sent their condolences and Watts responded to many of them.
Fellow actress Sharon Stone wrote she was “super sorry” to which Watts replied, “such a heartache. We did everything together. But he’s peacefully on the other side now 🌈.”
The actress said Bob is now running and playing on the other side of Rainbow Bridge with “his best pal Ned”.
Time is supposed to heal all wounds but, in the meantime, she is finding comfort in her rescue dog Izzy.
RIP, Bob.
