When we think of brave pets, dogs are usually the first animal to come to mind. It’s not poor thinking, dogs tend to be quite brave by nature.

However, we shouldn’t discount cats. Though they may be small, some of them can possess quite the “cattitude” when it comes to threats to their homes or loved ones.

In a video from British Columbia, Canada, you can see just how brave some cats can be. The now-viral video shows a coyote getting scared off by one tough kitty.

Since being shared, the video has been viewed over 20,000 times, with a lot of people commenting on the cat’s actions. Someone made a joke about Wile E. Coyote versus Sylvester, while someone else admitted, “This is why I prefer cats to dogs.”

However, there were a few concerns from people in the comments saying that the coyote could’ve been working with a pack and was trying to lure the cat away into an ambush. Coyotes have been known to do that, but fortunately, the police department followed up these concerns saying that the cat was fine.
