When we think of grumpy animals, the first animals that come to mind are cats. Who could forget the original “Grumpy Cat” (RIP) who became quite famous for his permanent scowl?

But the newest animal who is becoming quite popular for having a very annoying expression is actually a grumpy dog.

The 2-year-old Brussels griffon is named Bouche Lee, and besides becoming well-known for his grumpy look, he is also gaining attention for his resemblance to Chewbacca – but if Chewbacca were giving you the stink eye. The pup has his own Instagram where he poses for photos with the grumpiest of faces.

While his face might show him to look really annoyed, according to Healthy Happy News, his owner, Amanda Jensen, shared that he’s actually quite “sociable and playful.”

The California resident stated that Bouche just happens to know when he’s being photographed, therefore the sassy pooch will actually exaggerate the expressions of displeasure. How cute is that?

Amanda first got Bouche in 2013 from a breeder up in Oregon. Like most pet owners, Amanda started uploading pictures of the pup online.

It turns out that a lot of people loved his look, and his Instagram started to grow quite a bit. Today, the pooch has got more than 7,400 followers.

What most people online have been pointing out is how closely the canine resembles Chewbacca from the Star Wars franchise.

According to the outlet, his owner stated, “I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard, ‘That dog looks like Chewbacca’ or ‘He looks like an Ewok.’”

But despite what he gets called, Amanda has stated that he’s a pretty sweet-tempered pup. She definitely feels lucky to be his owner.
