A cat named Trash Panda went viral for his love of Fruity Pebbles cereal. Apparently, the people at POST cereals took note and sent the feline a box of Fruity Pebbles with her face printed on the box!

Trash Panda resides with the Fulton County Emergency Services and Disaster Agency (ESDA) and they take good care to ensure the rescue cat is showered with plenty of love, attention, and, of course, cereal.

The ESDA regularly shares the 9lb, black-and-white feline posing with Fruity Pebbles. It’s become a bit of an inside joke within their community.

However, the agency never expected to be recognized by the Fruity Pebbles company! Needless to say, they were shocked when they received a package addressed from Post Cereals and Pebbles Cereals. Upon opening the package, they found a custom Fruity Pebbles box featuring Trash Panda!

That’s not all they received, either. Inside the package was also a variety of Fruity Pebbles treats, like bars, masks, and more.

But what they were most appreciative of, wasn’t the custom Trash Panda or the other goodies. Instead, they were incredibly grateful for a handwritten thank-you note.

The note read:

“Trash Panda,

We’re honored you’re such a big Pebbles fan! We hope you enjoy the custom gift at the bottom of the box. We also included some cereal so you’ll be stoked up should you encounter a snowstorm. Please send thanks to your colleagues for taking care of the people of Fulton County during covid-19.

Sincerely,
The Pebbles Team”

In a Facebook post, ESDA shared, “Never in our wildest dreams would we have anticipated what was inside….Inside the package was, frankly the most important, a very touching handwritten note. Sometimes saying thank you, or just doing something nice for people can really have a spark.”

Way to go Trash Panda and the ESDA!
