This Dallas Zoo lion cub trio has decided to issue their selection for the big game on Sunday. All of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers/Tom Brady fans may want to close the page, though. These cubs do not seem to like their chances this week!
On Monday, the cubs were provided with frozen treats that were designed to represent each team. The three cubs approached the treats with caution, of course.
Two of the cubs made a beeline for the Chiefs treats, and thus, they selected their winner.
The treats were made with evaporated milk, dyed chicken broth, and Jell-O powder to make them enjoyable and safe for the cubs to eat.
The three cubs are five and a half months old and part of the first litter containing multiple cubs at this zoo in nearly 40 years.
If these lion cubs are right about their choice, we are going to have to re-assess everything. We would never condone gambling to our readers but those who like to place a little action on the games may decide to start asking the cubs for hot tips and stone-cold locks.
All jokes aside, we hope that their picks are right just because it’d be funny – don’t come at me, Buccaneers.
We’ll take the cubs’ picks on the World Series and the NBA Finals as long as they are willing to offer them up.
