Have you ever seen Dr. Doolittle? That man had the unique ability to talk to animals, but if Dominic Brown is any indication, it may not be all that unique. After all, the four-year-old boy managed to befriend a deer from the woods near where he was staying.

When his mother, Stephanie Brown, saw them on the front porch, she had a hard time believing it was real.

Dominic really didn’t need a deer standing beside him to look sweet. After all, a four-year-old boy wearing Rudolph the red nose reindeer PJs is enough to tip the adorable meter into the red zone.

When you add the little deer friend from the Virginia woods to the picture, it really pulls on the heartstrings.

Stephanie was with her family, including Dominic, for a little getaway in Virginia near the Shenandoah National Park. She always knew that Dominic was a friendly child, but she had no idea that it could extend to wild creatures as well.

What do you do when you have a little white-tailed deer following you around? If you’re a four-year-old boy, you give it a name!

Dominic chose “Flash” and the two stood on the front porch for one of the cutest photoshoots of all time. Stephanie then asked if Dominic would take the deer back to the woods.

They parted ways, but Flash left behind a memory that will last a lifetime.
