If you remember Pepé Le Pew, the first thing that probably comes to your mind is his love for a black cat with a painted white stripe. It was a Saturday morning cartoon that kept us entertained, but it seems that it isn’t that far from the truth.
I’m sure that you have seen animals that don’t get along with each other. Perhaps it brings to mind the thought that only ‘birds of a feather flock together.’
Then again, there are many families that have both dogs and cats under the same roof. They will testify that those animals can get along well together and, in some cases, they become the closest of friends.
That is a dog and cat, which are both domesticated animals that often find their way into our homes. Would the same be true for a cat and a skunk?
Thanks to the Too Cute series from Animal Planet, we get to see how house cats and skunks interact, and they can do so in the most adorable way.
It all started when a black and white mother cat, Ruby, had a litter of kittens. If there’s one thing we know about mother cats, it’s the fact that they don’t have a limit to the love they show.
It was still surprising, however, when an orphaned baby skunk, named Duke, was adopted into the fold. Now, the skunk seems to fit in just perfectly with the black and white kittens, and their proud mother.
There was also some sibling rivalry going on because little Moo wasn’t happy that Duke was now part of the family. There was some competition going on, but it wasn’t long before they were close friends.
If you haven’t seen something adorable yet today, you owe it to yourself to watch this video. Even if you have seen something adorable, this one is worth watching twice!
