Storms roll in and out of Tucson during monsoon season, but this Storm is looking to stay put! Yep, this handsome, energetic boy is looking to put down roots in a home with a family of his very own. Storm is young, fun, and friendly – a very good boy who shouldn’t spend one more day in the shelter, especially when you consider he’s been there since May 24, 2022!

If you’re looking for a hiking or jogging buddy, with a little bit of training Storm is your guy! He’s definitely no couch potato. Storm has had several kennel mates while in the shelter, and he was playful and rowdy when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He really is all about living life to the fullest.

Volunteers at Pima Animal Care Center who interact with Storm regularly and a former foster caregiver made the following comments about this handsome fella:

“Storm is a young, high-energy guy who needs someone active to help him burn some energy! He’s a really good dog looking for someone who will take him on ALL the adventures and use his energy to help train him to be the best dog he can be!” Volunteer

“I had Storm in the play yard today, and he was very pleasant! He had a nice sit, took treats very gently, and leaned in when petted. When his kennel mate came in they engaged in a bit of rough and rowdy play. He’s a well behaved nice dog.” Volunteer

“Storm is an intelligent, active, and affectionate dog. He has a good sit and is treat motivated. Good engagement with handler, checking in regularly with good eye contact. Enjoyed exploring a wash. His good behavior was rewarded with treats and affection.” Volunteer

“Storm is a busy boy who needs to have room to run and explore. Once he warms up to his people, he gets excited to see you when you feed him, walk him, or show him attention. He can easily develop a routine, as he waited patiently at his gate as we fed and cleaned our other animals.” Former Foster
