We all have things that scare us. It’s natural to be afraid of something in life. But it’s also a part of life that we eventually have to conquer those fears. My parents always used to encourage me to face my fears. It’s what parents do for their kids – especially pet parents.

Pet parents are always cheering their fur babies on as they conquer their fears, which usually include vacuum cleaners, lawnmowers, or even other pets in the household.

Our pets sometimes get intimidated by other pets in the home, usually cats. While cats are often smaller than the dogs they share their homes with, they also have a bit of a reputation for being difficult or mean. And it makes sense as to why dogs are often scared of the cats living in their home.

Poor Ryder the Boxer is one of these dogs who is often afraid of Zoe, his feline companion. While the Boxer does his best to avoid Zoe whenever possible, there is a point where he has to walk past the cat on the stairs. It’s the moment of truth for this brave boy who confronts his fears head-on.
