As Ukraine continues to defend its borders against Russia’s attacks, GreaterGood continues to fundraise and donate much-needed supplies and food to people impacted by the war.
Many surviving Ukrainians are living in their dachas (summer houses), which are ill-equipped for winter use, in shelters, or with relatives in cramped quarters. It is not uncommon for the electricity to go off for periods of time, which means access to heat, light, and other amenities is limited, and resources like food are also scarce.

With your help, GreaterGood has donated more than $1.3 million to the Ukrainian cause. We have distributed food and supplies to people in need in 100-plus locations in Ukraine and Poland, including over 4 million hot meals. We’ve also contributed 35,000 Ukrainian-made wool blankets and 268 life-saving medical kits to areas that needed them.
1,200 toys have been donated to Ukrainian children in Poland and Ukraine, and more than $27 thousand has gone to funding the rescue and relocation of wildlife out of war-torn areas. We’ve even distributed 9.5 million pounds of nutritious kibble for hungry pets who’ve been caught up in this devastating war as well.

Recently GreaterGood and our non-profit partner, Greater Good Charities, were able to offer direct assistance to first responders in the aftermath of a Russian bombing.
On March 2nd, 2023, at 1:45 in the morning, two Russian rockets hit a five-floor residential building in Zaporizhzhia, Russia. The building was badly damaged, and at least thirteen people have been reported killed, including an eight-month-old baby.
Rescue crews from all over Ukraine worked around the clock for the next five days to pull the remaining survivors out of the rubble. During that time, The Charitable Foundation M.R.I.Y.A. cooked pizzas from Siobhan’s Trust for all the first responders, volunteers, displaced people, and anyone else in need of sustenance. GreaterGood continues to fund these pizzas and other food and supplies as needed.

The need for these supplies and food items in Ukraine is as desperate as it was at the beginning of the invasion, and the end of the war is not yet in sight. It is only with your help that we are able to bring nutritious food, warm blankets, and other basic necessities to the struggling people of Ukraine.
Please donate today to help us continue to do this important work!
