A feisty dog in Canada is determined to get his way, despite his owner’s protests.

The dog, Max, was filmed attempting to bring a large stick inside the house but his owner wasn’t thrilled about the prospect of that.

As the dog attempts to walk in the door with the large stick, his owner can be heard saying, “No. Outside. That stays outside.” The dog protests back, with plenty of grunts and growls.

The two go back and forth, with protests from the owner telling the dog to keep the stick outside, and protests from the dog demanding the stick be brought into the house.

Speaking with ViralHog, the dog’s owner said: “My dog was telling me that it’s his stick, his house, and he won’t take ‘no’ for an answer.”

It can be hard to reason with our pets sometimes, and often, they end up ruling the roost.

It seems that’s certainly the case with this pup! At least, that’s what he thinks.
