Sledding is a favorite winter pastime and it’s enjoyed not just by humans but by animals as well! Just ask Harley, the 3-year-old rescue pup.
According to ViralHog, Harley, a pit bull and rottweiler mix, was rescued as a puppy.
At first, he was so sick that he couldn’t even walk. After he was nursed back to health, he learned to not only use his legs to walk but to run and play as well!
In an adorable video, you can see Harley at his home in Chicopee, Massachusetts. Snow blankets the ground and Harley finds a uniquely adorable way to make the most of it – by learning to sled!
The sweet rescue pup puts his two front paws on the sled and uses his back legs to slide around. It’s quite clever.
According to ViralHog, the dog’s owners explained:
“Harley, age 3, is a loving pup. He taught himself how to sled! He is a pit bull and rottweiler mix, and a rescue pup. My fiance Ben took care of him, when he was very sick and couldn’t walk, so he would carry him everywhere. Now Harley can’t sleep without snuggling.”
It’s so cute to see Harley living his best life and sledding around!
