You have got to love Suzuki! This sleek, though slightly plump, black-and-white pibble is just under three years old and purrs like a kitten (ok, maybe not like a kitten). She’s a sporty model with plenty of get-up-and-go and will keep you active and on the move – for a little while before nap time, at least! Features include soft fur, perky ears, and a million-dollar smile. Plus, Suzuki can go from zero (nap) to 60 (playtime) in a flash! Suzuki runs all day on just kibble and a few treats, so the cost of fuel won’t break the bank.
Rescue Pets
This goofy shelter favorite has been waiting quite a while for someone to snatch her up, and it’s high time that she rolls off the Pima Animal Care Center’s lot and into a home of her own. She’s spayed, weighs approximately 63 pounds, and staff thinks she’s about 2 years and 9 months old. She’s been at PACC since April 25, 2022, and is sooooo ready to go home!
Animal Rescue
Here’s what some of her fans at PACC have said about her:
“Suzuki is a lovely girl who is easy to handle and very sweet. She is polite with treats and hasn’t met a person she doesn’t love. She thrives off human contact, and you can often see her snuggling right up to the bars of her kennel for ultimate scritches if a member of the public says hello and offers some pets. I can see that kennel life is starting to take a toll on her, especially being that she is a dog that thrives on human contact but is isolated in a kennel. Suzuki is an endearing and loving girl with so much potential. She will make a family very happy; she just needs a chance for someone to meet her and they will fall in love.”
“Suzuki is a wonderfully good, even-tempered girl. Gentle, friendly, and easygoing, she’s easy to leash and walk and lovely to spend time with. She will make a person or family a wonderful companion dog.”
Shelter Life
Suzuki enjoys her daily walks in the park with her volunteer friends, but after so much time in the shelter, she really hates to return to her kennel. She’ll stop at the end of her leash and give you a look that says “please don’t make me go back in there” before proceeding. This sweet girl is way overdue for a family and a home of her own.
Adoptable Dogs
When meeting other dogs in playgroup, Suzuki was playful and social but needs to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good match. Please help Suzuki speed away from the shelter today! Suzuki is in Kennel D139, and her ID# is A775970. If you are interested in adopting this sweet girl or know of someone who might be, please email pacc.adopt@pima.gov for additional questions.
