With Christmas right around the corner, many parents are working on putting presents together for their children. While it’s never recommended to gift someone a purchased pet, deciding to adopt a rescue pet for your family can be a fun and rewarding surprise for kids.
If you decide to welcome a rescue pup into your home around Christmas time, you may be wondering an important question: How do you wrap a rescue dog?
Deanna from Papillion, Nebraska is here to answer that along with her two models, Shiloh and Abu.
Deanna Hanquist volunteers with Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue, Inc. While working with that rescue, she ended up fostering two sweet pups: Shiloh and Abu.
Shiloh is a 4-year-old Australian Shepard, and Abu is a 4-year-old Border Collie. Deanna shared with ViralHog that both dogs “came from homes where they were unwanted and neglected.” After getting to know them a little bit, she fell in love and decided to welcome them into her family permanently!
The two foster fail pups are now featured in fun videos and stories that Deanna creates to make people smile while promoting pet adoption.
Every Christmas, Deanna makes a special “instructional video” on how to wrap a rescue dog, and this year is no different. How cute!
