A friendly chicken gave an Amazon delivery driver a run for his money while the driver was on a delivery route.

Fancy the chicken was living in a garage in Minooka, Illinois while recovering from an injury. According to ViralHog, she needed to be separated from the other chickens while she heals, so she calls her family’s garage home for the time being.

When an Amazon delivery driver arrived to deliver a package, he opened the door to the garage not knowing what was waiting for him.

Thankfully, a camera was there to capture the hilarious moment!

As you can see in the video below, Fancy the chicken greets the driver by running out of the garage while he sets the package inside.

The driver doesn’t want to leave the chicken outside, so he picks her up and puts her back in the garage but that’s when she sends him on a wild goose chase – or, should say a tame chicken chase?

Fancy swerves the driver’s attempts to corral her into the garage until he finally grabs her and resorts to tucking her in her crate.

Speaking with ViralHog, Fancy’s owners shared:

“Fancy the chicken was in the garage roaming and an Amazon delivery guy opened the garage door for a delivery. Fancy ran out of the garage and proceeded to follow the driver as she loves human interaction. The driver then goes back and forth trying to get Fancy contained in the garage so he can close the door and leave.”

They added:

“Fancy is staying in the garage/house because she is injured and needs to be separated from the other chickens. So she is very used to people coming in and out.”

It’s nice to know that the driver was willing to go out of his way to get Fancy back to the safety of the garage, even if it took a lot of work.
