When I think of treats my dog loves, I envision bones, dog biscuits, meat scraps, and other highly-coveted “human” foods. It’s safe to say that many dog owners would agree that their canines love those same treats, but not every pooch is the same.

Just take Perry the Great Dane, for example.

Perry lives in Fairmont, West Virginia with his family and he’s got his puppy dog eyes and begging down to a T. But instead of begging for food from his owner’s dinner plate or treats from the biscuit jar, he whines and begs at the refrigerator in hopes of getting some ice cubes.

In a video, you can see Perry in action. He stands by the fridge and whines and howls for ice. He even pushes his snout up against the ice dispenser, but much to his dismay, nothing happens.

According to ViralHog, Perry’s owner shared:

“Perry enjoys his ice more than anything else! Throughout the day, he will go to the refrigerator and start ‘talking’ to it, or throw a tantrum, to dispense ice to him. He will even bite at the handle and change the refrigerator settings by rubbing his nose against the fridge, hoping by just touching it, the ice will automatically drop out for him.”

Unforantuely, that’s not quite how it works, Perry. At least he’s got some helpful humans nearby to give him ice!
