Sheep farmer Rory Gregor loves looking after his animals and growing his business in Inverurie, Scotland, and he does so with the help of his trusty sheepdogs.

Sam the border collie, in particular, knows the ins and outs of herding sheep and he proves quite the helper to Rory.

According to the Scottish Farmer, Rory is a first-generation farmer who has managed to grow his sheep business from 25 to 1,000 ewes in the last six years. That’s quite an impressive feat!

Sam has been by his side as they bootstrap the farm, and recently, they added a new puppy to the mix: Flo.

The 9-month-old puppy is still learning the trade of sheep herding and he doesn’t quite grasp it.

In an adorable video shared by Caters Clips, you can Sam attempting to run up towards his sheep, but he doesn’t get far before little Flo yanks on his tail!

The puppy used his mouth to bite the older dog’s tail and slow him down. Sam stayed put at first, but he wasn’t about to let the little pup get in the way of work. Despite Flo’s best efforts to hold Sam back, the larger dog eventually escaped and sprinted to care for his herd.

It’s quite adorable to watch! Hopefully little Flo learned a thing or two from Sam in the process.
