Typically speaking, it’s usually cats who are often found making themselves at home in someone else’s home. Don’t know why that is, but cats just seem to have an air of confidence that the entire world is theirs and we’re just living in it.
However, sometimes dogs might get a little too cozy in someone else’s house. Take he adorable little Golden Retriever who made a new friend when he wandered into one woman’s home and took a nap, for example.
According to a Facebook post by Mary Ellen Marcy, the friendly pooch approached her and then just helped himself right into her home where he proceeded to take a little afternoon nap.
It wasn’t just a one-time thing either. Soon, it became a habit for this woman to host this dog in her home for his afternoon siesta. While the woman was amused by the strange turn of events, she also wanted to get down to the bottom of the mystery: Who was this dog and where was he coming from?
That is when she decided to take action. During one of the pup’s frequent nap visits, she wrote out a little note to his owner and attached it to his collar. It read, “I would like to find out who the owner of this wonderful sweet dog is, and ask if you are aware that almost every afternoon your dog comes to my house for a nap.”
She didn’t have to wait long for a response. The very next day, the dog reappeared, alongside a note on his collar which said, “He lives in a home with 6 children, 2 under the age of 3. He’s trying to catch up on his sleep. Can I come with him tomorrow?”
How hilarious is that? Have you ever found an animal sleeping in your home that wasn’t your pet? Let us know!
