When Michael picked up a stray cat while working as a security guard, he had no idea what he was in for.

In an interview with The Dodo, Michael explained that he was on shift when he noticed a cat “kept following me.”

He nicknamed the cat Tree Kitty and began to enjoy her company.

He said, “I fell in love with that cat. Something about this cat just makes me happy.”

Eventually, Micahel decided to bring Tree Kitty home with him.

Michael and Alexandra took Tree Kitty to the vet for a quick check-up and were surprised to learn she was pregnant! The vet saw three little kittens on the ultrasound and Miachel and Alexandra decided right then and there that they would care for the mama cat and her new kittens.

To their surprise, Tree Kitty ended up giving birth to not three kittens, but five!

Michael and Alexandra cared for the kittens and supported Tree Kitty in being a mother. When the kittens were grown and ready, they helped place them into loving and amazing homes.
