Welcoming a baby into the family can be an exciting time, but it can also be quite stressful. For those with pets, you never really know how your animal will react to having another baby around.

Some dogs become jealous when their owner brings home a baby, but other dogs go into full-on protection mama mode!

It seems that Prince the boxer took the latter approach and happily welcomed his new baby sister home.

In a sweet video shared on YouTube, you can see the two interacting in the most adorable way! The 5-month-old baby is lounging in a baby chair on the floor of her home in Nykil, Sweden when Prince comes up and begins entertaining her.

The dog throws his toy around in front of the little baby and she giggles and laughs in delight. It’s incredibly sweet.

According to ViralHog, the dog’s owner said:

“My boxer Prince loves our 5-month-old baby. He protects her and is faithful to her in all situations. He even tries to give her his food, and if she cries he tries to comfort her.”

How precious is that?
