Cats are pretty interesting animals. They can be sly and sneaky, or loud and rambunctious. But beyond that, they also have their own unique personality traits and quirks. Sometimes, they do things a little strangely and we never quite know what’s going on in their heads.
Take Brewskie, the 2-year-old Highland Lynx cat, for example.
Brewskie lives in West Hollywood, California with his brother, a 5-year-old rescue dog named Squink, and their owner, Rochelle Newman-Carrasco. Photos of the two are often shared on Instagram, but its Brewskie’s unusual habit that really steals the show.
You see, the two animals both love to go outside and explore the yard but to get outside they have to cross through a mesh door. Squink takes the easy way out, and simply walks through the mesh. While Brewskie could do the same, he chooses another method that’s been dubbed the “Brewskie Burst.”
According to ViralHog, Rochelle explained:
“[Brewskie and Squink] like to play in the yard. To get there, they have to go through a Magic Mesh screen. Squink walks right through and Brewskie can too — if he wanted to. But Brewskie is a little extra. He likes to make a grand exit and entrance. As people say, watching Brewskie do what we call The Brewskie Burst never gets old. Squink is always a little perplexed.”
If you want to see what they’re talking about for yourself, you’re in luck! The owner happened to film the unique exit and it’s both hilarious and fascinating.
