If you’re a cat owner, you know that there is nothing more adorable than a cat who is asleep. They’re like adorable little cinnamon rolls of happiness. We can’t help but want to take all the pictures of them while they’re asleep, as well as tickle their little toe beans until they wake up – annoyed.

But there is plenty of time for annoying our cats while they sleep, seeing as they tend to sleep a lot. They sleep morning, noon, and night. And they’ll fit their siestas into almost any part of the house like our beds, our sofas, on top of tables, under beds, in our office workspaces – pretty much anywhere. And they always sleep with that serene expression, like nothing can interrupt their inner peace.

But there is one kitten who has proven to be the cutest of them all when it comes to feline sleeping habits. And it’s completely understandable as to why the little munchkin cat, Chata, has gained popularity on social media. The cat is adorable enough with his stumpy little legs, but when he sleeps he enters a whole other level of precious.

And the picture of Chata sleeping on his back wasn’t a one-time viral sensation. It turns out, this little kitten always likes to sleep on his back. Whenever he catches his z’s, he never fails to end up in his favorite sleeping position. He is taking the social media scene by storm with his adorable photos, most of which feature him sleeping. His 124K followers love Chata’s adorable content. Occasionally his sister, Chava, will make an appearance on his page.
