In the age of social media, it’s not uncommon for brides-to-be to show off their engagement rings in cute photoshoots.

It can be fun to get creative and find ways to display the ring. Some people try to include their hobbies, kids, or even pets!

One woman tried to include her dog in a photo shoot with her engagement ring, but things didn’t quite go as planned. In fact, they went terribly wrong.

Reddit user u/DanyHeatley50in07 shared a video of the photoshoot attempt in the r/WhatCouldGoWrong subreddit.

In the video, you can see the woman placing the ring carefully on her dog’s nose. Before she can snap a picture of the ring balancing on her dog’s nose, he opens his mouth and eats it!

It’s a moment that happens so quickly, there’s nothing that can be done but watch in horror.

u/DanyHeatley50in07 shared in the comments of the video that a friend sent her the clip. They added, “probably better I post it cause boy is she taking some heat on these comments.”

The clip went viral and people wanted to know one thing: What did the woman really think was going to happen? It’s a common trick to place a treat on a dog’s nose and get them to eat it.

Others wanted to know if the dog was ok. Swallowing a ring can’t be healthy. Hopefully it comes out the easy way when the dog has a bathroom break!
