Having a pet comes with a lot of different responsibilities.

For one, we have to make sure that they always have food and fresh water. Additionally, we also need to make sure that they’re up to date on all their vaccines and their other medical needs.

But there is one part of pet responsibility that no one particularly likes and that is the bathroom situation.

Unlike humans, our pets’ bathroom situation is a little different. And for the most part, we’re the ones that have to clean up afterward. There are many of us who probably think, “oh wouldn’t it be nice if they could use the bathroom like humans.”

Well, in one pet owner’s case, there is a very smart pooch who has been trained to be able to go to the toilet just like a human!

In fact, this Belgian Malinois, who is named Monkey, is any pet owner’s dream in that he takes himself to the potty like the independent good boy that he is.

In the video, Monkey shows just how smart he is by being able to let the toilet seat lid and do his business. He’s even got excellent aim!

After he’s finished up, Monkey is still full of surprises. In fact, he’s able to not only put the toilet lid back down, but he can also flush!

What a good boy!
